Nkosikhona Mhlongo is a 27 years old male from lngwavuma, Okhalweni Area. Off the stage Nkosikhona is quiet, but the moment he is on stage you are stunned by a rich backing tenor that moves your soul. When the blogger first heard him sing she could not believe he had that voice. Nkosikhona joined Mighty Rooted Voices simply for the pure love of gospel music. He loves farming and he sees gospel music as means of planting a good seed in the hearts of our community and the world at large. He is leading in some songs and he is a backing tenor in others.
The three things that he strongly feels musicians must possess are focus ,passion and they must always be active because when a singer is dormant, the voice disappears." If you don't use it, you lose it" he says

Nkosikhona sees Mighty Rooted Voices group blowing up soon and becoming an internationally recognized act and the group is ready for it.

Nkosikhona loves all the songs they have produced but "Ngenzenzele Konke Nqaba Yami", it is a traditional song that emphasize the presence of God.
